Hi Skot, I think it is super cool Joe Bob is doing a film. I'm looking at my October schedule and it is pretty full with wedding shoots, Live theater videotaping and help work on a PBS TV documentary for a producer friend of mine. Then there is my projects and post production work on full feature I recently worked on. BUT!!!!, Im still going to try like hell to free up some time so I can be director of photography for Joe Bob's film. Your letter could not have come at a better time. I just finished writing my gangster comedy short. I plan to go into production when I get my new Hi-Def videocamera. You, Joe Bob and Big Brian are perfect for some roles in the film. For now I would like to shoot a few scenes with you guys to see how the dialogue fits live action. I would do this on current camera I have. I think we can both help each other, I 'll help Joe bob and you guys can help me in the old Beat style of artists colaborating on each others work. Skot I have so many other film Ideas I would love to talk to you about. One that has strong marketing value is a story about Robert E. Lee as a educator and humanitarian. I could certainly use your writing skills on that one. I will be coming up to the hotel for Sara's Pitt trip Sept 29 and 30th. We can all get together and talk about all the marvelous film work ahead of us.

You guys, of course, may use the hotel for the film. It is getting colder by the day though, so know that if you wait until into November or so actors will see their own breath on camera. I suggest setting a shooting date ASAP for others to plan for it. The troops will fall into place. I'm sure everyone reading this will jump to be on board. (People are already talking.) It'll be a blast of a weekend. We'll drink cold beer, make film, and shiver. Think of how good the hot coffee will be as we create a new film to capture the rich memory...

My only demand is that you guys give a DVD copy of the finished film to everyone involved, and in a timely maner. That's only fair. And that's cool too.

Looking forward to the shoot.

New Cruel Samoan Director Joe Bob Smith will be changing directions by shooting The Last Supper, with ultra Coool Hand Jaemi still as DP. Not much has been released about the plot or the cast but the shooting begins October 13th. It will have color and sound and probably not feature Santa Claus or gangsters coming to grips with heaven, as leaked elsewhere. From anonymous sources close to production it is rumored to be a tribute to the Grindhouse "ideals of family and the pleasures of eating." Rumors are that the Snake of Events shoot experienced some logistic difficulties, aesthetic challenges, and too many loose variables associated with production. The much anticipated surrealist adventure film looks to a later shoot date.

When asked about the new film, Mr. Smith replied: "Quote: The fastest tectonic movement on earth is 240mm per year, at the Tonga micro-plate near Samoa."

Dismembered Body Found in Mexican Horror Novelist's Apartment

Oct. 8: Jose Luis Calva is treated by paramedics after he was run over by a car while trying to escape police in Mexico City.

MEXICO CITY —  An aspiring horror novelist was arrested after police discovered his girlfriend's torso in his closet, a leg in the refrigerator and bones in a cereal box, the city prosecutor's spokesman said Thursday.
Nearby they found the draft of a novel titled "Cannibalistic Instincts," said the official, who spoke on customary condition of anonymity.

Jose Luis Calva told police he had boiled some of his girlfriend's flesh but that he hadn't eaten it, the spokesman said.

The official also confirmed other details released by the prosecutor's office Wednesday night: that body parts were spread throughout the apartment, and that Calva is being investigated in the deaths of three women whose mutilated bodies had been found in and around the capital.

The prosecutor's office said Calva tried to escape when officers entered his apartment, but was struck by a car and hasn't recovered enough a formal statement to police.

Police had come to Calva's apartment Monday to investigate the disappearance of his girlfriend, Alejandra Galeana, a 30-year-old pharmacy clerk and single mother, according to the prosecutor's office.
The office said that parts of her dismembered body was discovered in a closet, the refrigerator and inside a cereal box.

Calva also is being investigated in the mutilation killings of an unidentified prostitute in April and an ex-girlfriend whose body was found in 2004, the prosecutor's office said.

It's a little chilly to be a very convincing dead body. I'm shivering like a fiend in my little nightgown costume. But the good news is my blue lips make me a much more convincing corpse.

when the going gets weird...the weird go to the circle

For those of you that came and helped with the shoot, I thank you. For those of you who missed the shoot, that's a shame. You missed weirdness in the making. Editting will begin this weekend and hopefully I'll have a version suitable for all ages over 13 by the chattering bones celebration. By the way, the astrological involvement of this film and the real life unfolding of the author who was caught storing his girlfriend's bones in cereal boxes are to the naked eye as merely coincidents. However, You decide.

Guys, just came from blockbuster and saw a new feature film on the shelf titled The Last Supper and it was about cannibalism. Great minds think alike? Anyway, you need to quickly rename your new baby.

Well, So the cosmic universe in on to me in more ways than one. I see. If it is a game that they want to play, let's play. For the sake of the forum we'll continue to call it the last supper, however, the working title was the last supper (with mommy). Of course the originality of this thing will make me change that. How about we call it Happy Days? No, already been taken. Ok, what about Star Wars? That's taken too, Damn. So I guess we can't call it Serpico, Dog Day Afternoon, Time Bandits or Night Rider. I guess The Hunger would be good, but David Bowie wasn't in it. Although I did talk to David's Manager and he told me in a kind voice, "Go Seek someone else." Looks like I'll have to surprise you on this one.

We all know _most_ (but certainly not all) DTV horror movies are shite, so why not call your movie "The Last Supper - The Better Version."

It would most likely be truth in advertising.

Keep your eyes peeled for "Welcome to the Jungle," the uncredited re-make of Cannibal Holocaust. The guy wasn't making a re-make, he angrily claimed to a lot of the sites sniping him, but he somehow felt the need to mimic a lot of the scenes and shoot it in the same fashion.

Zombie Fest is going on next weekend at Monroeville Mall... and on Sunday morning from 9 to 11 am, there's supposed to be a Guinness Record attempt for a zombie walk...

Joe Bob, you should show up and improvise a zombie movie short.

The Last Supper is no longer The Last supper. It is now: Pranaddicto (To Have and To Devour). I doubt that one has been taken. Editing has begun. I just seconds ago spoke with the chop and splice guy and we had a good laugh about it.

Holidays put a slight delay on the final editing, however, editting will restart soon. I know some of you have a raging fire in your pants about this and I assure you that it will get done. If you are antsy, put on Chubby Checker's the twist, sit in a corner, bite your fingernails to the bone and be patient. So far it's about 1/2 finished. That half being that actual imagery. After the imagery is completed, caption blocks need to be added and then a sound so disturbing it will make your belly shiver (kind of like when I eat a tomato). Maybe I'll just eat a tomato and then swallow a mic to record the chaos in my stomach. I have thought about adding the loving voicemails that have been left on my phone for the sound track (of course I would have to mutate them). Maybe they are not so loving after all and that might actually be more affective. If only I could get Brother Theadore to sing me a lullaby all would be golden but I'm sure he's busy fishing for sturgeon off the coast of bizzaroland. Well anyway, it's back to the tanning bed for now.

We started again and it's moving along. The sound is creepy. I was sort of joking on my last post about it, but the sound does have a life of it's own that's for sure.
